12. Well this site made no sense to me. It took forever to get it to my blog. I did not understand the directions-kinda knew what I wanted to do, but........ There was not a lot of information on the 2.0 site and I only have an hour here at work to do it and there was no one available to ask any questions.

Library Things

11. I like having a library of my favorite books. I keep certain authors names in a folder so I can recommend them to patrons or friends. This way I can keep the titles right in my blog and I can just make it available to them if I want.

10. As you can see I did an online image!!!! Wow! It reminds me of my good ol' days - a teenager in the 60's. Can you believe I still remember then??

Merlin

Well, I went into Merlin and with a lot of hard work and yelling I now have a Merlin account. After further searching through it I think this will be an interesting site to visit. There was a post about the 23 Things on there and I briefly looked at a few others. These usernames, passwords, email addresses are starting to mount up and it's getting confusing. I try to keep the same e-mail and password AND write it down, but setting up this account was especially frustrating since when I first tried it only asker for a username and e-mail. Then when I went to try to get on it asked for a password and the one I always use was not valid???!!!???

Bloglines Account

8. Today I created my Bloglines account. I chose Yarn Harlot, Wendy Knits and Reuters Top News. I wanted a weather one, but didn't see it listed and wasn't sure how to find it. I ran out of time at work also. I'll probably try to do it at home.

7. Don't know if this is what you want, but I was watching NASCAR this past Saturday night and they have the electronic finish line which they didn't have years ago. This past race was either the closest or next to closest they've ever had and it was amazing to see how close those two cars were to the finish line. Without this technology you may not have been able to determine who actually won the race. Or at least you would have had one driver mad thinking that he was the winner.
6. I created a magazine cover of one of my favorite things--Travel. It was easy to make the cover, but getting it to my blog was another thing. But I did it!!! I would like to play with this some more, but don't have the time. There's no time to play, just get it done.

5. Now this I did have fun with. After I figured out what the heck to do. I did this at home and was very pleased with myself that I did it. I put three pictures of my wonderful grandchildren on with a comment under each of them. I talked to some others that did it differently than I did. I amazingly figured out how to have my pictures file up and the Flicker site and just dragged the pix I wanted from my pix file. Now I want to do that with all my pictures, because I understand that the pix on Flicker are backedup and if my hard drive should fail I won't lose all my precious photos since they are saved on Flicker.
4. I have registered my Blog and periodically check it.
3. I have set up my Blog and am the Raven Lady, naturally because of my beloved Ravens. I set this blog up at the demonstration table and it was very easy. I feel comfortable adding posts and editing them. When I have some extra time I would like to set up a blog to put out there to generate some interest and some help in trying to keep the Ladies LPGA golf tournament in Bulle Rock after our contract ends in 2 years.
1. When I heard about the upcoming Technology Fair, my first thought was "uh uh"! I really didn't think I wanted to learn all those "new fangled things". But after the introduction by Maurice and Annette I started to get intrigued. I liked the idea of blogging and the use of Flicker for my photos. So I decided to try this new technology and see what it really can do.
